Prantiya Workshop (June 2011)
JAMMU & KASHMIR
: The workshop for newly elected office bearers for the year 2011-12 was organized on 5th June 2011 at Jammu club which was attended by over 50 members. The Chief Guest on the occasion was S.K. Wadhwa National Secretary General

Dr. D.R. Kotwal state president welcomed the participants. And briefed the purpose of the workshop and priorities of the works to be undertaken during the year by the branches. It was also informed that at present there are 17 branches having membership of over 700 in the state. Shri S.K. Wadhwa speaking on the occasion presented the National scenario of BVP and various programmes and activities conducted at the National level. Shri Wadhwa also said about the vision 2013 and appealed for increasing braches and members by the Prants. He also said that each branch must have one project which is worthy to be established. Shri Wadhwa, in the open house discussion, replied to all queries to the satisfaction of the members. The proceedings were conducted by Shri Arun Sharma, General Secretary.

Prantiya Workshop (May 2009)

One day workshop for the newly elected office bearers of the Prant was organized in which functioning of the Parishad activities and programmes were thoroughly deliberated. Shri R.P. Gupta, National Additional Secretary General was the chief guest and Shri Rakesh Sehgal Zonal Organizing Secretary, Zone-I guest of honour. Speaking on the ocasion Shri Gupta presented National scenario of the Parishad and expressed ways for effective working of the branches and programmes. The meeting was attended by about 50 members. Ashok Jadhav, National Secretary, Samagra Gram Vikas also spoke on the occasion.

Earlier in his presidential address Sr. Subhash Gupta presented his policy and plans for expansion of branches and membership in areas which have remained uncovered.

Others who spoke in the workshop included Prof. Satish Anand, Sh. S.N.Sharma, Dr. Santosh Gupta, Prof. D.K.Gupta, Dr. J.K.Sharma, Prof. Vinod Gupta, Shri I.D.Soni, Sh. Ved Raj Goswami, Smt. Jyotsana Sharma and Sh. Y.R.Gupta. For exchange of views ample time was given to Presidents, Secretaries and Treasurers of the branches to clear their doubts if any.

The programme was conducted by Dr. D.R. Kotwal Prantiya General Secretary who also deliberated on the targets for the branches for the year 2009-10.
