State Workshop: 2014
Punjab North: First state workshop (2014 -15) was organized at Ludhiana on 11th May 2014 with the help of Tagore branch, at Viklang Sahayata Kender. 106 delegates from 29 branches of 4 districts participated. Shri Ajay Dutta, National Additional Secretary General Zone-1,2,3 presided. Dr. Anil Kalia, Zonal Chairman Zone-1, Sh. Yash Paul Gupta, National Chairman, Sh. Pankaj Jindal, State Vice President and in-charge state website spoke about various aspects of the Parishad. Group discussion was held separately for Presidents, Secretaries, Treasurers and State Conveners. Sh. Ajay Dutta in his presidential address gave very useful tips for smooth functioning of the branches. A cheque for `15,000/- was handed over to the host branch for organizing State Workshop.

Second state workshop (2014-15) was organized at Gurdaspur on 18th May 2014 with the help of Gurdaspur branch at S.D. College Gurdaspur, 154 delegates from 26 branches of 5 districts participated. Shri Lalit Mahajan National Vice President presided over. Sh. Sushil Sharma National Convenor (Organization), Sh. Radhey Shyam Mahajan National Secretary Samagar Gram Vikas, Sh. K.K. Mahajan, State Organizing Secretary spoke on various projects of BVP. Members of Gurdaspur branch above 75 years of age and new members were also honoured on the occasion. Group discussion was held separately for President, Secretaries, Treasurers and state conveners. Various aspects of the organization were discussed. Sh. Lalit Mahajan asked the members to first discipline themselves as people in the society are watching them. They should be aware of the fact that they are representing an organization which has taken up the task of spreading the rich traditional values. College Principal Mrs. Neelam Sethi applauded the works being done by BVP.  A cheque for `15,000/- was handed over to the host branch for organizing state workshop.

State Workshop of Punjab North

Gurdaspur: On 9th May, 2010, 2nd State Workshop of Punjab North was held at local Pt. Mohan Lal J.D. College for Women. 102 members from 20 branches attended the workshop. Sh. Sriniwas Bihani chaired the workshop. Many office bearers of National and Zonal level participated alongwith State office bearers.

Inauguration of  "Sewa Kendra" at Khanna

Punjab North : A few years back, BVP Khanna members contemplated, deliberated & anticipated a Sewa Kendra from where all the activities of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Khanna can be carried out for the welfare of the needy and poor brethren. The untiring efforts, unending enthusiasm matured on 28th Feb. 2010, when in the kind presence of state President, BVP, Shri Yash Mahajan, members, state convenor, executive members of BVP and renowned industrialists and philanthropist of Khanna, our National Working President, Shri I.D. Ojha inaugurated "Sewa Kendra". Shri Ashok Arora, Shri Harinder Walia, Sh. Narharivishnu and all the members of BVP Khanna deserve kudos for the excellent job done within a span of one year, turning the dream into reality. Sh. I.D. Ojha, National Working President gave a personal donation of Rs. 11000/- for the sewa kendra.

The programme started with Jot Prajvallan, followed by Rashtrageet Vande Mataram sung by Sonu and party. Later on he regaled the audience with beautiful Bhajans. Shri Yash Mahajan Dr. J.R. Kaushal, Ludhiana District President, BVP, sung a poem. Shri Narinder Mittal, Secretary BVP, narrated the activities of BVP Charitable Trust, Ludhiana and shared how these can be helpful at BVP Sewa Kendra at Khanna. Shri I.D. Ojha started his speech recalling early childhood days at Khanna, his college days at A.S. College for Boys at Khanna, then in UGC office at Delhi, joining BVP, then endless journey of sewa and Sanskar, patriotism etc. His fluency, clarity and vision of Bharat Mata spell bound the audience. He praised Shri Yash Pal Bhatia, a renowned industrialist of Khanna who helped a lot to raise Sewa Kender. The hall measuring 42x55' and situated at Amloh road, Khanna, has been suitably named, 'Prakash Sabhagaar' in the sacred memory of Yashpal Bhatia's mother late, Prakashwati. Shri Kuldeep Gupta, President BVP Charitable Trust, Ludhiana, Shri Pankaj Jinda, state Treasurer, Shri B.B. Bansal, Ludhiana District President, Shri. Harbinder Singh Chaudhary, state con. Vikas Mitar, Behan Neelam Gupta, President Tagore branch were the stars of the august and impressive gathering. The programme ended with Rahatargan jan gan man followed by dinner.

Punjab North  State  Council Meeting: 2008-09

 State  Council Meeting was held at Madhopur on 22.02.09. Shri I.D.Ojha, National Working President, presided over the function and the Jalandhar South was continuously declared first eight times in Prant and the branch was awarded ten other prizes for different projects.

Sh. Manohar Lal, President of branch, Sh. Kulwinder Phull, Secretary, Dr. Bhatia, Treasurer, Sh. H.S. Choudhary, District Secretary, Sh. Yash Mahajan, State President, Sh. Sushil Sharma, S.M. Arya. Sh. Rakesh Aggarwal, Sh. Hardev Raj, Sh. G.D. Kundra, Sh. Raj Sabharwal were also present on the occasion.
