 OTHER REPORTS FROM THE PRANT

 

State Level Conference

A  state level conference of Maharashtra II was organized on 12th and 13th March 2011 in Lonavala near Pune at Narayani Dham which is a huge premises having a beautiful temple of Sati Devi. Lonavala being a Hill Station, the surrounding atmosphere of the venue was hilly and of pleasent weather. Therefore all participants were extremely delighted.  About 350 members attended the meeting for two days. National Working President Shri I.D.Ojha, National Secretery General Shri S.K.Wadhwa, National Additional Secretary General Shri Sitaram Parikh, National Auditor General Shri O.P.Kanungo, National Vice President Shri S.S. Asthana were present to guide different sessions. Inauguration ceremony was performed at the auspicious hands of Shri I.D.Ojha and Shri Vinay Sahastrabuddhe (well known management consultant and founder of Rambhau Mhalagi Prabodhini). Retired IGP of Maharashtra Police Shri Arvind Inamdar delivered a lecture highlighting the imminent threat of wide spread courruption and deteriorating  situation of Law and order and motivated the audience by telling them not to be nervous and pessimistic but to adopt positive approach to fight the said problems bravely with united efforts.
 

In the  competition of speeches (oratory competition) all 18 branches participated vehementaly and all the speakers put forword their views in an effective manner.  Shri S.K.Wadhwa stressed the need for the family relations between the members in general and the office bearers in particular to achieve the success of the Aims and objects of Parishad.
 

Shri I.D.Ojha summed up the proceedings of the conference in a effective manner and gave encouragement and inspiration to the members in perfect and appropriate language. All the memebrs were highly impressed by his lecture.  Shri Aniruddha Todkar was the main co-ordinator and convener of the said conference. Shri Vinay Khatavkar, Shri Shailendra Telang, Shri Rajendra Jog, Shri Hemant Dharmavat, Shri Rakesh Jagnani, Shri Sandeep Shah, Mrs. Vinita Telang, Mrs. Sujata Khatavkar, Shri Rajendra Lunkad, Miss Oswal, Shri Trivedi, Mrs. Choudhari, Mrs. Pawar were among those who made great efforts for the success of the conference.

State Convention of Maharashtra- II

A first ever State convention of Maharashtra- II was held on 7th and 8th March, 2009. This convention was named as "चैतन्य सम्मलेन". The venue was Suman Motel situated at a beautiful location on a hill top at Panchgani. National Working President Shri I.D.Ojha, and National Vice President Dr. Ashok Kukde delivered their speeches. Shri Prakash Phatak, Dr. S.N. Navalgundkar and Shri Rajeev Dixit also guided and gave impressive speeches. They stressed on the need to preserve and inculcate basic values of mankind and national character in youth and expressed their good wishes for speedy expansion of the mission undertaken by BVP. A total of 150 members attended the meeting from 13 branches and expressed their great satisfaction and were inspired with unprecedented enthusiasm. We hope that this will go a long way to expand the number of branches and to strengthen the present branches.
