Vikas Parishad celebrated Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary on
January 12 at Triplicane. A procession of school students was
organised during the event. The rally, which started from the
Vivekananda Rock Memorial office at Singarachari Street, Triplicane,
at 3.30 p.m., culminated at J.S.N. Jain Vidyalaya Matriculation
Higher Secondary School, Ganapathi Street. Earlier, the rally was
flagged off by T.S. Ramaswamy, Senior Advocate.
A meeting was held at Jain Vidyalaya, which was attended by school
students and members of BVP branches. The teachings of Swami
Vivekananda were explained to the students by V. Hariharan, National
Secretary; P.M. Gopalakrishna, Zonal Secretary; Prof. B. Satagopan,
Tamil Nadu State President; and Chella Subramanian, State Comvenor.
A quiz programme was conducted by Mr. T.S. Ramaswamy on the cultural
values of our country and cash prizes were distributed to 10
students. Natarajan, State General Secretary, proposed a vote of
thanks.

विवेकानन्द जी की भव्य प्रतिमा का अनावरण

विकास परिषद् की ओर से स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी के 150वें जन्म दिवस पर
भारत विकास भवन के आंगन में उनकी मूर्ति का (प्रतिमा) अनावरण समारोह,
स्वामी विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी की उपाध्यक्षा सुश्री निवेदिता
भिड़े के कर कमलों द्वारा हुआ। समारोह की अध्यक्षता परिषद् के राष्ट्रीय
अध्यक्ष श्री रवीन्द्रपाल शर्मा ने की, जिसमें विशिष्ट अतिथि श्री
आई.डी.ओझा, राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष, श्री सुरेन्द्र कुमार वधवा,
राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री, डॉ. के.एल.गुप्ता, राष्ट्रीय वित्त मंत्री थे।
समारोह में श्री राजकुमार जैन, प्रान्तीय अध्यक्ष दिल्ली उत्तर, श्री
महेश चन्द्र शर्मा, पूर्व महापौर एवं चेयरमैन प्रकाशन, श्री भूपेन्द्र
मोहन भण्डारी, राष्ट्रीय मंत्री, श्री हरीश जिन्दल, राष्ट्रीय संगठन
मंत्री, प्रो. एस.पी.तिवारी, राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष, श्री संजीव मिगलानी,
प्रान्तीय महासचिव, दिल्ली उत्तर आदि सहित सैकड़ों कार्यकर्ता उपस्थित
थे।
मुख्य अतिथि
के रूप में बोलते हुए बहन निवेदिता ने विवेकानन्द जी के अमेरिका के
प्रारंभिक दिनों के कष्टों की चर्चा करते हुए बताया कि विश्व धर्म
सम्मेलन से पूर्व विवेकानन्द जी अमेरिका में बहुत कष्टमय थे, परन्तु
कष्टमय रहते हुये भी अपने भारतीय मित्रों को लिखा कि मैं बचूँ या न बचूँ
आप सब भारत में दरद्रि नारायण की सेवा अपने आध्यात्मिक ज्ञानवर्द्धन से
देशवासियों के उत्थान में लगे रहना।
निवेदिता ने
बताया कि स्वामी जी ने विदेशों में हिन्दू धर्म की विजय पताका फहराने
के बाद भारत भूमि में पदार्पण किया और स्थान-स्थान पर भ्रमण कर उतिष्ठ
जागृत का सन्देश दिया और नवयुवकों को आगे बढ़ने एवं देशभक्ति की प्रेरणा
दी। उनका महावाक्य था-सर्वे भन्तु सुखिनः सर्वें सन्तु निरामयः। बहुजन
हिताय, बहुजन सुखाय का नारा विश्व को देकर 4 जुलाई, 1902 को वे इस धरा
से प्रस्थान कर गए।
अध्यक्षीय
भाषण करते हुए श्री रवीन्द्रपाल शर्मा ने बताया कि भारत विकास परिषद्
की स्थापना 10 जुलाई, 1963 को विवेकानन्द जी की 100वीं जयन्ती वर्ष में
उनके बताये हुए मार्ग पर चलकर भारतीय संस्कृति परम्परा, आदर्श और
पुरातन गौरव की रक्षा के लिए संभ्रान्त, शिक्षित, सम्पन्न लोगों ने की।
पिछले पचास वर्षों से हमारे हजारों कार्यकर्ता नगरों, जिलों और प्रान्तों
में ग्रामों विकास समाजोत्थान, विकलांग मुक्त देश के निर्माण में लगे
हैं। हमारे 13 केन्द्रों पर कृत्रित अंग बनते हैं। 2 बार महामहिम
राष्ट्रपति एवं 1 बार माननीय प्रधान मंत्री द्वारा सम्मानित हो चुके
हैं।
श्री
सुरेन्द्र कुमार वधवा, जी ने अपने विचार रखते हुए बताया कि स्वामी
विवेकानन्द की प्रतिमा सर्वोंत्तमुखी थी। वे योगी, तत्वदर्शी, गुरु,
नेता, ज्ञानी, धर्मप्रचारक और एक महान् राष्ट्र निर्माता थे। उन्होंने
पाश्चात्य देशों में वहाँ के निवासियों के समक्ष हिन्दुत्व के सच्चे
स्वरूप का प्रचार कर देश का सिर ऊँचा किया। ऐसे स्वामी विवेकानन्द को
भारत विकास परिषद् ने अपना आदर्श मान है, जिसका उद्देश्य है भारत का
विकास तथा गौरवशाली भारत का निर्माण करना। सम्पूर्ण देश में हम युवकों
में देशभक्ति की प्रेरणा हेतु भारत को जानो और राष्ट्रीय समूहगान
प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन करते हैं। सेवा प्रकल्पों से समाज सेवा का कार्य
करते हैं। श्री आई.डी.ओझा, राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष, श्री राजकुमार
जैन, प्रान्तीय अध्यक्ष, दिल्ली उत्तर, श्री महेश चन्द्र शर्मा, पूर्व
महापौर ने भी अपने विचार रखे।

के.एल.गुप्ता ने विवेकानन्द के विषय में बताते हुए सभी आये हुए अतिथियों
और समारोह में पधारे लोगों को धन्यवाद दिया।

भारत विकास परिषद कुशालगढ़ शाखा की ओर से स्वर्ण जयंती वर्ष व स्वामी
विवेकानंद की 150वीं जयंती के मौके पर रैली का आयोजन किया गया। इसमें
सैकड़ों विद्यार्थियों व परिषद के सदस्यों ने भाग लिया।
परिषद के दर्जनों सदस्य सुबह 11 बजे मिनी सचिवालय पर एकत्र हुए और इस
मौके पर रथ में स्वामी विवेकानंद व भारत माता की सजीव झांकी सजाई गई।
रैली के शुरू में पुलिस उपाधीक्षक नरेन्द्र सिंह व तहसीलदार विजेंद्र
मीणा ने भारत माता व स्वामी विवेकानंद का पूजा-अर्चना कर पुष्प अर्पित
किए। रैली एसडीएम कोर्ट से शुरू हुई और मुख्य बाजारों स्टेशन रोड़,
कोतवाली थाना, खारी बाजार, कैलाश टॉकिज, फव्वारा चौक, प्राइवेट बस
स्टैंड, हायर सैकंडरी स्कूल होते हुए रोडवेज बस स्टैंड पर समाप्त हो गई।
रैली में विवेकानंद सीनियर सैकंडरी विद्यालय, ऋषिता सीनियर सैकंडरी
विद्यालय, त्रिवेदी माध्यमिक व आदर्श माध्यमिक विद्यालय महूकलां के
छात्रों ने भाग लिया। रैली का कई स्थानों पर पुष्पवर्षा कर स्वागत किया।
रैली के बाद रोडवेज बस स्टैंड पर परिषद की ओर से लगाए गए टीन शेड पर
पौषबड़ा कार्यक्रम हुआ। इस मौके पर केन्द्रीय पदाधिकारी संतोष गुप्ता,
प्रांतीय अधिकारी हर्षवर्धन शर्मा, डॉ. पुरुषोत्तम, डॉ. जगदीश हेमनानी,
कार्यक्रम संयोजक लक्ष्मण प्रसाद गुप्ता, सह संयोजक अशोक शर्मा,
विजयसिंह मीणा, शाखा अध्यक्ष रूपकुमार बिड़ला, सचिव सुनील कुमार शर्मा,
अमित जैन, विनोद गुप्ता, आदित्य सहित परिषद के सदस्यों ने भाग लिया।
रैली में गंगापुर सिटी शाखा के सदस्यों ने भी सहभागिता निभाई। इसी
प्रकार भारत विकास परिषद गंगापुर शाखा की ओर से विवेकानंद जयंती के मौके
पर अस्पतालों में मरीजों को फल बांटे गए।

Mammoth rally to mark Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniv

Gwalior. On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Swami
Vivekananda a mammoth prabhatpheri (early morning procession) of
nearly 500 school children, school teacher of DVC ME School, Shankar
Uttkaramit Vidyalaya Six unit, DVC high school and DVC employees was
organised in Bokaro Thermal by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Bokaro Thermal
branch on Thursday.
The Bharat Vikas Parishad took out an impressive prabhatpheri which
started from DVC ME school and passed through major thoroughfares of
the Thermal City including station road, hospital, Jharkhand chawk,
Lal chawk CMD areas, Govindpur and GM colony that later turned into
a meeting at local DVC middle school's ground.
The members of Bharat Vikas Parishad also took part in the rally,
led by the State general secretary PK Ambatha. Earlier the National
Convener Vistar of BVP GP Singh paid tribute to Swami Vivekananda
and recalled his contribution in generating social awareness and
self respect among the downtrodden of our nation.
State general secretary PK Ambastha of BVP explained about the
organisation and its activities to the school children.
The organisation is working on the theme of contact, help,
dedication and service and a member of BVP is working for upliftment
of society.
On occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, many
social programmes from January 12 to July 10, 2013 would be
organised by the BVP, Bokaro Thermal in different ways.
Others present on the occasion included AK Mishra, SB Singh, Shyama
Kumari, Rajani Bala Karn, Pratima Chakarbarty, Sanjay Kumar, SK
Sarkar, AP Mehta, Anil Gupta, KK Tiwari, Virendra Kumar Sinha,
Vimlesh Mishra, Quaseen Akhatar.
Bharat Vikas Parishad presently has 950 branches all over India with
a membership of 67,000. In addition Bharat Vikas Parishad has also
established a number of branches outside India.
For carrying out its work, the country has been divided into 15
zones and 58 prant.

Celebration of Swami
Vivekananda’s 150th Birth Anniversary by West Bengal, Andaman &
Nicobar on 12th January 2012
We organized a rally in collaboration with "Vivekananda Pathachakra".
There was huge procession of 6000 students, traversing a distance of
6 kilometer, starting from the ancestral abode of Swami Vivekananda
to Hatibagan and once again coming back to Swamiji’s ancestral
abode. Out of these 6000 students, 245 students were from the Seth
Surajmal Jalan School and the rest of the students hailed from
different other schools.
The basic objective of the procession was to draw public attention
towards the ideals of Swami Vivekananda . We also intended to
incorporate the axiom of Swami Vivekanada among the little
participants of the rally. We intend to carve the silhouette of
their tender psychic constitution emulating the priceless
philosophical viewpoint of Swami Vivekananda.
After the completion of the procession, we distributed toffee,
biscuits and food packets to the children.
In this context we draw the attention of the readers towards an
inspiring fact. Shri Harish Jindal, our National Organizing
Secretary and the Secretary of Utkrishta Samman Project ,
accompanied us through out the procession. We are honored and
privileged by his auspicious presence. His invigorating presence
imparted tremendous fillip to our endeavor and escalated our
momentum to a great extent. We expect to ensure his gracious and
gorgeous participation in our forthcoming programs so that our
initiatives can bask in the effulgence of his radiant presence.

Motor Rally

Vijayawada. Vijayawada branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad, a socio
cultural organisation, organised shobha yatra, a rally, from Indira
Gandhi Municipal Stadium Complex to Swami Vivekananda statue near
Raghavaiah Park. City-based Vivekananda Youth Association members
led by its president Y. Krishna Prasanna took out another rally
separately from Benz Circle to the Raghavaiah Park. Bharatiya Janata
Yuva Morcha activists took out a motorcycle rally from BJP city
office to Raghavaiah park and garlanded the statue of Swami
Vivekananda. BJYM general secretaries P. Govind G. Ramakrishna and
others were present.

हाथरस. भारत विकास परिषद् हाथरस शाखा ने आज लहरा वाली बगीची आगरा
रोड हाथरस पर स्वामी विवेकानंद जी की जयंती मनाई गयी जिसमे एक संगोष्ठी
का आयोजन किया गया और एक मानव श्रंखला भी बनायीं गयी.वही कुछ कवियों ने
भी अपना काव्यपाठ किया तथा स्वामी विवेकानंद जी के जीवन पर प्रकाश डाला
और सभी ने उनके आदर्शों पर चलने का प्राण लिया इस अबसर पर अध्यक्ष आशीष
उपाध्याय, सचिव विकास गुप्ता, कोषाध्यक्ष सौरभ सिंघल, सुधीर शर्मा,

स्वर्ण जयंती पर सालभर आयोजन

जयपुर, 10 जनवरी। भारत विकास परिषद स्वामी विवेकानन्द के आगामी
150वीं जयंती वर्ष को अपनी स्वर्ण जयंती के रूप में मनाएगा। इस अवसर पर
देशभर में सालभर विभिन्न कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे। परिषद के
राष्ट्रीय मंत्री राजेन्द्र प्रसाद शर्मा ने बताया कि स्वर्ण जयंती
समारोह के अवसर पर 12 जनवरी को स्टेच्यू सर्किल पर मानव श्रृंखला बनाने
के साथ कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत होगी।
इस कार्यक्रम में स्कूली-कॉलेज विद्यार्थियों के साथ ही परिषद सदस्यों
एवं प्रबुद्घ वर्ग को शामिल किया जाएगा। कार्यक्रमों की श्रंृखला में
गणतंत्र दिवस पर भारत माता पूजन आयोजित किया जाएगा। जिसमें विवेकानन्द
के आदर्शों के अनुरूप सामाजिक और राष्ट्रीय हितों के लिए संकल्प लिया
जाएगा। 23 मार्च को नवसंवत्सर का आयोजन कर अप्रेल से सितम्बर माह के
मध्य विद्यार्थियों के लिए निबंध और भाषण प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की जाएगी।
तीन स्तरों पर आयोजित इस प्रतियोगिता में राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर चयनित
सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रतिभागियों को पुरस्कृत किया जाएगा। इसके साथ ही परिषद
कच्ची बस्तियों में स्वास्थ्य शिविर के साथ ही स्वामी विवेकानन्द के
जीवन उद्देश्यों और कार्यों की वर्तमान समय में आवश्यकता विषय पर
राष्ट्रीय स्तरीय विचार गोष्ठी का भी आयोजन करेगी। विकलांगों की सहायता
के लिए उन्हें कृत्रिम अंग उपलब्ध करवाए जाने के साथ ही महिला सहभागिता
को बढ़ावा देने वाले विभिन्न कार्यक्रम भी होंगे। विद्यार्थियों के लिए
करिअर परामर्श शिविर लगाए जाने के साथ ही सामूहिक सरल विवाह और कन्या
बचाओ अभियान चलाया जाएगा। गौरतलब है कि परिषद की देशभर में बारह सौ
शाखाएं है, जिसमें करीब एक लाख सदस्य शामिल है। परिषद की स्थापना 1963
में हुई थी। |

KOCHI: Viswa Hindu Parishad (VHP)
international president Ashok Singhal inaugurated the 150th birth anniversary
celebrations of Swami Vivekananda, in Kochi on Sunday by offering flowers at the
Vivekananda statue near the Ernakulam boat jetty. The celebration is being
organised by the Kerala and Lakshadweep units of the Bharat Vikas Parishad. It
includes various programmes for school and college students such as extempore
speech, essay writing and seminars.
VHP international secretary Praveen Togadia, Dinesh Chandra, K P Harikumar,
Bharat Vikas Parishad Kerala and Lakshadweep secretary P V Athikayan and K N
Kartha were present.

I (Coastal Prant): To celebrate the Maharashtra Day, Bharat
Vikas Parishad, in association with Bonanza Portfolio Limited, a
financial institution organized famous Mono Act Play of Shri Shekhar
Sen on the life of Swami Vivekananda at Thakur Auditorium, Thakur
Village, Samta Nagar, Kandivali (E), Mumbai to mark the beginning
of the events and celebrations of the 150th Birth Anniversary of
Swamiji falling in the year 2013.
The program was inaugurated by Shri Gopal Shetty, MLA and attended
by several prominent personalities like Shri Suresh Khandelia, Group
Chairman K.K. Birla Group of Industries- Textile Division, Shri
Madhusudan Agarwal of Ajanta Pharma, Shri Sunil Goyal, Shri
Uttamchand Agarwal and Shri Ramvilas Hurkat.
The program was a resounding success as Shri Shekhar Sen mesmerised
the crowd for three hours with his acting and dialogue delivery. It
was his 176th show of Swami Vivekanand. Bharat Vikas Parishad has
decided to organise several such shows of Shri Shekhar Sen pan India
to spread the message of Swami Vivekanand.

The Parishad has stated that it was the beginning of the
celebrations to commemorate the 150th Birth anniversary of Swami
Vivekanand which falls on 12th January 2013 and it has been planned
to organize several other programs / events in next two years to
project Swami Vivekanand as an Icon and an epitome of Strength and
Courage for the Youth - Character building; Value education and
Imbibing Indian cultural values & traditions.
Further, these programs will emphasize upon inculcation of Swami
Vivekanand’s values among the students of all schools and colleges.
Also programs related to Swami Vivekanand & National consciousness -
Synchronized both eternal Indian & modern India and Arouse dormant
Bhartiya Cultural.
The Parishad will also undertake innovative programs in future on
Vivekanand’s relevance in the 21st century and the importance of his
ideas in contemporary context in the field of Management,
Administration, Economic Growth and Social upliftment.
