Bharat Vikas Parishad is striving for the development of the Nation. You can also participate in this effort  by (a) becoming a member of Bharat Vikas Parishad, (b) enrolling yourself as a “Vikas Ratna” or “Vikas Mitra”  and (c)  donating for various sewa &  sanskar projects.

Prantiya Workshop : June 2012
Prantiya workshop was conducted on 17.06.2012 at Shri Suraj Prakash Sadan, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. Ch. Hanumanta Rao, the patron, was the chief guest. He requested the members to do selfless service to the society and not to go after sensual pleasures which act as poison.

Four sessions were conducted on different aspects of activities of BVP and the office bearers at National, Zonal and Prant level took part in the proceedings. Shri Kasi V. Rao, National Secy. Press and Media explained the importance of Sampark through power point presentation. Shri N.C. Kanungo, National Vice Chairman, Viklang Punarvasa Yojana, spoke on strengthening the branches by enrolling youth as members. Shri J. Prabhakar, Zonal Org. Secy. spoke on the importance of participation of members in various meetings, workshops and Sanskar programs being conducted at National, Zonal and Prant levels. Shri Ch. A.V.S.N. Murthy, member of National Celebration Committee of Golden Jubilee and 150th Birth anniversary spoke on the programme planned during the year long celebrations. Prant President K. Veerbhadra Rao explained about the action plan for 2012-13.

Shri Ch. Rajeshwar Rao Prant General Secretary made power point presentation on BVP organization and project. Shri M.V.S. Raju, Vice President of Kukatpally branch making power point presentation spoke on the human values and personality development. Prant Vice President Shri G. Sreenivasa Rao, Shri N.V. Chalapathi Rao, Shri G. Lakshminarayana presided over different sessions.

Shri J. Hariprasad, Additional Prant General Secretary conducted the proceedings of afternoon sessions. Smt. Sujana Prabha, the Project Convener of NGSC/NSGSC was nominated as the Prant Mahila Pramukh. She spoke on the necessity of involving women in Parishad activities and requested the members to see that their spouses attend the meetings. Shri E. P. Prabhakar was entrusted with publication of Quarterly News letter in Telugu. Shri B. Sudarshan the Additional Prant Gen. Sec. is nominated as the convener of souvenir committee.

Shri Rama Murthy, RSS Pracharak, in his concluding speech stressed the need to understand the aims of the organization while conducting various activities, instead of concentrating on the ways and means of conducting programmes. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by Prant General Secretary.

Prantiya Council Meeting:  2012
Prantiya Council meeting was held on April 8th 2012  in Suraj Prakash Sadan, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. The programme commenced with Jyoti Prajwalan by our Patron Ch. Hanmanth Rao. Sh. Rao expressed that we should aspire to do Satkaryas (good deeds) not for Satkars (honours.) He also advised the members to bring the youth to Parishad who can keep the torch aflame. Prant General Secretary G. Lakshmi Narayana submitted the report of activities done during the year 2011-12.

Prant Treasurer Ashish Sharma presented the accounts. G. Pandurangam of Palamur Shakha reported their branch activities and proposal of bringing out a Souvenir from their branch and a Sneha Sammelan of all Office Bearers at Mahabubnagar. E.P. Prabhakar, Treasurer, Vidyaranya Shakha and M. Lakshmi Narayana Branch Secretary, Vivekananda Shakha, reported their branch activities and introduced their branch members present in the meeting. Satyanarayana from Vidyaranya Shakha advised for publicity of Parishad activities and join hands with other organisations of same ideology so that our services reach the backward and needy people.

Kasi V. Rao, National Secretary Press and publicity addressed the meeting. He said the branch office bearers shall increase the Sewa activities by adopting slum areas, backward villages for development. The Parishad should reach the needy people through Sanskar activities by conducting various competitions. We shall create awareness of environmental protection by taking the help of specialists in the field like Prasanna Kumar the branch President Begumpet branch. Samuhik Saral Vivah programmes may also be conducted identifying young poor boys and girls who wish to become life partners. This year three main pogrammes are to be taken up enthusiastically by all branches i.e. BVP Silver Jublilee Celebration in Andhra Pradesh, Golden Jubilee Celebration Nationwide, Swamy Vivekananda's 150th birth anniversary celebrations.

In the secod session of the meeting after lunch, Prant President K. Veerabhadra Rao announced the action plan for the year 2012-13. Members requested the Prant and National Office Bearers for installation of life size statue of Swami ji in Suraj Prakash Sadan meeting hall. Zonal General Secretary Satyanarayana said that it is our privilege to serve the society. Our aims and objects should attract mainly the youth and students. Later he administered the oath to the elected Office Bearers: K. Veerabhadra Rao, as Prantiya President, Ch. Rajeshwar Rao as Prantiya General Secretary and the other Nominated Office Bearers. J. Hari Prasad, Additional General Secretary proposed vote of thanks.
