Be a partner in development of the Nation

Bharat Vikas Parishad is striving for the development of the Nation. You can also participate in this effort  by (a) becoming a member of Bharat Vikas Parishad, (b) enrolling yourself as a “Vikas Ratna” or “Vikas Mitra”  and (c)  donating for various sewa &  sanskar projects.

Donations to Bharat Vikas Parishad are eligible for income tax exemption under section 80-G of Income Tax Act. Donations may kindly be sent by cheque / demand draft in favour of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Bharat Vikas Bhawan, BD Block, Behind Power House, Pitampura, Delhi-110034.

1. How I can join Bharat Vikas Parishad?

 

For membership of Bharat Vikas Parishad, you may get in touch with the State General Secretary (http://www.bvpindia.com/state_exe.html)  for information regarding branch nearest to you. Alternatively, you may kindly  write to us indicating your town and contact information and we shall to let you know the branch or the State General Secretary concerned.

 

2. What are the towns which have BVP branches?

3. What is the membership subscription payable by a member?

 

Annual membership subscription may vary from branch to branch. The amount of annual subscription payable by members is decided by each Branch

 
4. Are students required to pay any membership fee to join BVP?

. 

Membership in BVP is family based. Thus for children who are students, there is so separate membership fee to be paid.  However, if an adult member of the family wishes to have his own identity, he is welcome to become an independent member on payment of prescribed annual subscription of the branch.

 

5. Is there Life Membership in Bharat Vikas Parishad?
 

There is no life membership in Bharat Vikas Parishad as the members are expected to be active year after year. Thus the membership is renewed annually.

 

6. What are the purposes for which BVP seeks donations?

BVP solicits donations for:
 
(a) Corpus fund:
  • Bharat Vikas Ratna  - Rs.1 lakh
  • Vikas Mitra                    - Rs. 5,100

(Only interest accrued is utilized to provide help in case of  emergencies such as floods, draughts, earthquakes, etc.)


(b)
Specific projects such as:
 
  • Viklang Sahayata: Artificial limbs, tricycles, etc. to handicapped persons through 13 centres / camps

  • Vanvasi Sahayata: Projects for tribal development - Hospitals, dispensaries, medical and health centres, sanskar kendras, archery training centres, knitting and sewing centres, vocational training centres, etc.

  • Gram / Basti Vikas:  Village development programme - providing sanitation, health care and other facilities.

(c) Printing of books: Advertisements  for printing of:
  • Books: books for distribution among children such as "Bharat Ko Jano", "Chetna Ke Swar", "Rashtriya Geetika", etc.

  • Periodicals: Monthly magazine "Niti" and quarterly magazine "Gyan Prabha"

7. Are donations towards BVP exempt under Income Tax regulations?

 

Donations to Bharat Vikas Parishad are eligible for income tax exemption under section 80-G of Income Tax Act.
