All India National Group Song Competition
37th All India National Group Song Competition: 2011 was
held on 12th-13th November, 2011 at The Art Of Living
International Center, Kanakpura Road, Bengaluru hosted by BVP
Karnataka South Prant. Teams from all over India started
arriving from early hours of 10th November.They were welcomed by
BVP members and lodged in the calm premises of the Ashram.
The
competition was formally inaugurated by Respected Shri R.P.
Sharma, National Presidrnt BVP at 9 a.m. in the exquisitely
beautiful Vishalakhi Mandap of the Ashram after Deep Prajwalan,
garlanding Bharat Mata and portrait of Swami Vivekananda He was
assisted by Sarvashri I.D.Ojha, National Working President, S.K.
Wadhwa, National Secretary General, J.R. Bangera, Chairman,
Reception Committee, K.G. Subbaram Setty, Patron, S.P. Agrawal
Vice Chairman, NGSC, Daulat Rao, National Addl. Organising
Secretary and S.N. Panda, National Secretary, NGSC.
The
programme started with loud cheers from audience applauding
participants from every nook and corner of India. At 10.30 a.m.
His Holiness Sri Sri Ravisankar Guruji and Honble Sri D.V.
Sadananda Gowda, Chief Minister,Karnatak, Justice Dr M. Rama
Jois, Member Parliament, Ex Governor, Past President and Patron
BVP sat with the audience enjoying the presentations of a few
teams. Honble Sri Gowda ,CM presided the brief function of
dedication of book "Raja Dharma" with lessons on Rajaneeti,
(written by Justice Rama Joisji) by Sri Sri Ravisankarji. Both
blessed the participants ,asked them to dedicate themselves for
nation building and make India corruption free.
44 teams
took part in Hindi NGSC, and 36 in Regional Patriotic Group
Songs. The programme continued up to 9.30 p.m. Level of
competition was very high.
On 13th
Nov during Valedictory and Prize Distribution function at 10am,
Shri K.G.Subbaran Setty,Patron, Karnatak South Prant, welcomed
the guests. Sri Sri Rvisankar Guruji advised young participants
to be good human, win all by love, practice yoga to be healthy
and strong, to make India Viswa Guru. Shri S.K. Wadhwa informed
the gathering the contribution of 65000 BVP members all over
India in various fields. Shri Jayapraksh Agarwal, Chairman, NGSC
in his presidential address asked the students to be strong
nationalists. Justice Rama Jois opined that Rajaneeti should be
based on Dharma. Members who worked hard to make the programme
success were recognized with momentoes,

Meeting
ended with vote of thanks proposed by Shri K.N. Ramraj, Event
Covenor.The participants while cherished the serene ambience,
spartan life of the Ashram, went back home enriched by blessings
of Sri Sri Ravisankarji.

36th
All India National Group Song Competition
On the 13th-14th November, 2010, 36th All India National Group Song Competition
was held at Lahoria Senior Secondary
School, Hissar. It was hosted by Haryana West Prant and its
Vivekananda Branch.
Prior to the function, on the 12th evening a press meet was
organized that was attended by Shri R.P. Sharma, National
President and Shri S.K. Wadhwa, National Secretary General. In
reply to press query Shri Sharma put light on the purpose and
activities of BVP and dwelled at length on the importance of
NGSC. Participating teams who arrived early, were taken on
sightseeing tour in and around Hissar.
The competition was declared open on 13th November, 2010 by Shri
Sharmajee at 10 A.M. in a colourful pendal erected within the
said school compound. The competition continued up to 9.30P.M.
42 teams participated in Hindi patriotic songs and 34 teams in
Regional songs. The entire programme was telecasted live in the
local T.V. on both the days at Hissar.
Swamy Shri Madhab Prapannacharyajee was the chief guest at the
concluding session on the 14th November. The programme started
with the presentation of songs by four winning teams. Other
dignitaries who graced the occasion were: Shri Jaiprakash Agrawal,
Chairman, NGSC, Shri R.P. Sharma, National President, Dr (Smt)
Prakashwati Sharma, Vice President, Shri S.K. Wadhwa, National
Secretary General. Shri Jaiprakashjee asked the participants to
prepare themselves to sacrifice everything for Bharat Mata.
Swamyjee called upon the children and the youth to know and
preserve our unique culture and heritage. He appreciated BVP’s
efforts in guiding these youths to be staunch nationalists
through its programmes. Shri Hanif Qureshi IPS, advised
participants to be hard working and contribute their mite for
nation building. Shri Surinder Lahoria, Event Convener of the
programme, thanked every one for the success of the event.

Prizes and mementoes were distributed among the winning teams.
For success of the programme, Sarvashri S.P.Agrawal, Vice
Chairman NGSC, S.N. Panda, National Secretary, Dr Thribhuban
Sharma, National Convener, Surinder Lahoria, Event Convener,
C.P. Ahuja, Zonal Chairman, Naresh Batra, Zonal Secretary,
Sanskar, Prantiya Office bearers of Haryana West, Members and
Office bearers of Vivekananda Branch, Hissar worked tirelessly
for months together.
The participants of NGSC who came from all over India were
extremely delighted by the manner in which they were welcomed at
the venue with Dholak And Shahnai. The quality of lodging and
Boarding was good. All departed to their respective places with
fond memory of wonderful hospitality at Hissar.

35th All India National Group Song Competition
Thirty-fifth All India National Group Song Competition
was held on the 28th-29th November 2009 at Visakhaptnam (Andhra
Pradesh). The number of teams that participated in Hindi and
Regional songs category was 42 and 33 respectively.
The two day function was inaugurated by Shri Ajeya Kallam, I.A.S.,
Chairman, Visakhpatnam Port Trust.
He said that he was highly impressed with the projects taken up
by the Parishad. He commended the work of Parishad in organising
such a programme which instills discipline and imbibes spirit of
nationalism among youth of the country.
On the concluding day,
Vice-Admiral Anup Singh,
A.V.S.M.,N.M.,
Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of
Eastern Naval Command, was the Chief Guest at the function. In
his address he said that on being invited for the
function, he had gone through the Parishad's website.
He was highly
impressed with
vision and mission
as well as activities of the Parishad.
Vice-Admiral Anup Singh
lauded the efforts of the Parishad in inculcating a sense of
patriotism among the students through this commendable
Competition.

During 2007-08,
thirty-third All India National Group Song Competition
was held at Ujjain (Madhya Bharat Prant) on the 24th-25th
November 2007.

Following teams won the
