Seventh All India National Sanskrit Group Song Competition
Seventh
All India National Sanskrit Group Song Competition 2011 was held on 26th
-27th Nov. 2011 at the prestigious auditorium of Teerthankar Mahavir
University Moradabad.
The responsibility of
organising the competition was taken by Rohilkhand Prant where 37 teams
participated in Sanskrit Group Song and 36 teams participated in Folk Song
Competition. Total 73 teams participated in both the competitions.
The opening session was
presided by Justice M.Rama Jois the member of Rajya Sabha and Former Governor
Bihar & Jharkhand. The chief guest was Shri Suresh Chandra Jain Chancellor of
Teerthankar Mahavir University Moradabad who highly appreciated the projects of
Bharat Vikas Parishad. Saint Atul Krishan Bhardwaj blessed the participants by
inspiring words.
The Secretary General
Shri S.K. Wadhwa highlighted the different activities undertaken by Bharat Vikas
Parishad. All the participants were happy to meet the renowned International
Cricketer Mr. Piyush Chawla who was the guest of honour of the opening session.
The closing ceremony was
presided by Shri I.D.Ojha National Working President Bharat Vikas Parishad once
again the chief guest was Mr. Suresh Chandra Jain Chancellor T.M.U. who
appreciated the efforts of Bharat Vikas Parishad.
In his presidential
address Shri I.D.Ojha highlighted the importance of Patriotic Songs and other
Sanskar & Sewa activities organaised through out the country by Bharat Vikas
Parishad. National Org. Secretary Shri Harish Jindal, National Vice Chairman
NSGSC Dr. Subhkaran Jain, National Finance Secretary Shri K.L. Gupta, National
Secretary Shri Sanjeev Bansal and Mr. M.L. Jain Advocate from Kanpur also graced
the occasion.
Vote of thanks were
given by Event Chairman Shri Nirmal Mehta President Rohilkhand Prant.

|
Sixth All India National Sanskrit
Group Song Competition organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad was held
on 27th-28th November 2010, at Sonepat hosted by Swarnpath Shakha
Sonepat ( Haryana South ). |

Chief Guest at the
opening Ceremony of this function was Shri Ashok Jain, Director of Lord Shiva
Construction Company.
National President Shri Ravindra Pal Sharma, National Working President Shri
Ishwar Datt Ojha, National Secretary General Shri Surinder Kumar Wadhwa,
National Vice Chairmen (NSGSC) Dr. S.K.Jain, National Secretary (NSGSC) Shri
Kaval Sahni, National Convener (NSGSC) Shri Ravi Chandra were present on this
occasion.
41 teams participated in National Sanskrit Group Song Competition while 39 teams
participated in National Folk Group Song Competition.

All India National Sanskrit Group Song Competition
Fifth
All India National Sanskrit Group Song Competition was held on
the
12th and 13th December, 2009 at Kanpur (Brahmavart Prant).
Out of 52 Prants of the Parishad,
a record number of 38 teams
participated. Shri Sri Prakash Jaiswal, Minister for Coal,
Government of India was the Chief Guest. Shri Jaiswal
congratulated the Parishad for the projects taken up for
all round development of the society and particularly
the children by holding competition in Sanskrit
songs.
एक ही मंच पर भारत की विभिन्न संस्कृतियों के सामवेश को देखना अद्भूत होता है,
कानपुर में भी कुछ ऐसा ही नजारा देखने को मिला, जहाँ न भाषा की दीवार थी न ही
संस्कृतियों पर टकराव। मौका था पंचम अखिल भारतीय राष्ट्रीय संस्कृत समूहगान एवं
लोकगीत प्रतियोगिता, जिसका आयोजन ब्रह्मावर्त प्रान्त द्वारा महाराणा प्रताप
इन्जीनियरिंग कॉलेज, कानपुर में बहुत ही सफलता पूर्वक किया गया।
सम्पूर्ण भारत वर्ष से पधारे
छात्र-छात्राओं ने पहले संस्कृत भाषा में देश भक्ति से ओत-प्रोत गीत प्रस्तुत किये
उसके पश्चात् एक से बढ़कर एक लोकगीत प्रस्तुत कर, विभिन्न प्रान्तों की 38 टीमों ने
अपने गीतों के माध्यम से यह संदेश दिया कि हमें अपनी संस्कृति को सहजने की आवश्यकता
है इसे विगड़ने मत दें।
कार्यक्रम के उद्घाटन समारोह में बच्चों
को भारत विकास परिषद् के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष श्री रवीन्द्रपाल शर्मा, राष्ट्रीय
महामंत्री श्री वीरेन्द्र सभरवाल तथा समापन समारोह में राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष
श्री ईश्वर दत्त ओझा का मार्गदर्शन मिला। समापन में मुख्य अतिथि माननीय श्री प्रकाश
जायसवाल, कोयला राज्य मंत्री, भारत सरकार, विशेष रूप से पधारे, जिन्होंने बच्चों की
प्रतिभा की तथा भारत विकास परिषद् द्वारा किये जाने वाले कार्यों की भूरि-भूरि
प्रशंसा की। इस शुभ अवसर पर राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष श्री रामशरण श्रीवास्तव, राष्ट्रीय
संगठन मंत्री श्री सुरेन्द्र कुमार वधवा, राष्ट्रीय चेयरपर्सन डॉ. प्रकाशवती शर्मा
एवं राष्ट्रीय वाइस चेयरमैन डॉ. शुभकरण जैन जी के साथ अनेक पदाधिकारी कार्यक्रम में
उपस्थित रहे।
पूरे देश से आई टीमों का संगम, देव वाणी संस्कृत भाषा में देशभक्ति के
गूंजते स्वर इन सभी ने मिलकर कार्यक्रम को शानदार बना दिया। प्रतियोगिता का

Fourth
All India National Sanskrit Group Song Competition was conducted on the
6th and 7th December, 2008 at Roorkee (Uttarakhand).
It was hosted by Uttranchal
West Prant. Out of 52 Prants of the Parishad, 35 Prants
participated.

Winner team of The Hindu Senior Secondary School,
Indiranagar, Chennai |
The Hindu Senior Secondary School, Indiranagar, Chennai of
Mylapore Branch,Tamilnadu Prant won the First Place in Sanskrit
Song while the First Prize in Folk Song Competition was won by
team from Haryana West Prant.
In Sanskrit Song, the
Second, Third, and Fourth places were won by Karnataka South
Prant, Haryana North Prant and Maharashtra II respectively.
Similarly, In Folk Song Competition, the Second, Third, and
Fourth places were won by Karnataka South Prant, Punjab North
Prant and Rajasthan South East Prant respectively.
Shri Harbans Kapoor, Speaker in the Government of Uttarakhand
inaugurated the function while Maj Gen (Retd) B.C. Khanduri,
Chief Minister of Uttarakhand was the Chief Guest on the
concluding day. Shri R.P. Sharma, National President, Shri I.D.
Ojha, National Working President and Shri Varinder Sabharwal,
National Secretary General graced the function.
The Chief Minister
declared prizes of Rs.50,000, Rs. 25,000 and Rs.5,000 for teams
standing First, Second and Third respectively.
The event was held at the world famous Yoga Centre at Patanjali
Yog Peeth of Swami Ram Dev ji. Acharya Shri Bal Kishan ji,
General Secretary of Patanjali Yog Peeth remained present all
through the event and blessed the participants. The programme
was recorded by the Astha TV Channel and subsequently screened
on their network world wide.

Third
National Sanskrit Group Song Competition was
conducted on the 8th and 9th
December, 2007 at Faridabad. A record number of 35 Prants
participated.

For a number of years,
Bharat Vikas Parishad has been organising the full text of
Vandemataram Competition to instill patriotic feelings among
the children.
From the year 2005-06, the Vandemataram
Competition has been renamed as National Sanskrit Group Song Competition. Accordingly, in this competition, the first song is to
be a patriotic song in Sanskrit and the second song should be a
folk song of any state. This competition is conducted at branch
level, the state level and All India level.

In the first National
level competition in the revised format was held in
2005-06 on the 21st and 22nd January, 2006
at Pali (Rajasthan West) where 24 teams from various
Prants participated.

In the second All
India competition held during 2006-07 at Nasik on the
6th and 7th January, 2007, teams from
26 Prants participated. The teams from Tamil Nadu
North and Orissa Prants stood first in (a) Sanskrit Song and (b)
Folk Song Competitions respectively.
