Be a partner in development of the Nation

Bharat Vikas Parishad is striving for the development of the Nation. You can also participate in this effort  by (a) becoming a member of Bharat Vikas Parishad, (b) enrolling yourself as a “Vikas Ratna” or “Vikas Mitra”  and (c)  donating for various sewa &  sanskar projects.

Donations to Bharat Vikas Parishad are eligible for income tax exemption under section 80-G of Income Tax Act. Donations may kindly be sent by cheque / demand draft in favour of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Bharat Vikas Bhawan, BD Block, Behind Power House, Pitampura, Delhi-110034.




Senior Citizens’ Camps - Praudh Sanskar Shivirs


17th National Praudh Sanskar Shivir, Gwalior
- 17th National Praud Sanskar shivir was organized at Gwalior on 5th and 6th March, 2011. Host Prant was Madhya Bharat North. 164 delegates from various Prants attended the Shivir. 44 delegates from Jammu alone had come to the Shivir.

5th March, 2011
Inaugural session was chaired by Justice M. Rama Jois member Rajya Sabha and patron Bharat Vikas Parishad. Speaking on the occasion, he said that corruption can be eradicated through Sanskar alone, and by preaching Dharma. Sh. Ajay Bansal Coordinator of the Shivir welcomed the delegates of the Shivir. Shri S.K.Wadhwa, National Secretary General of BVP gave introduction of the projects of the Parishad.

Main speaker of the session was Dr. A.K.Dutta of Shanti Kunj, Haridwar. Shri I.D.Ojha, National Working President of BVP gave the presidential remarks and Sh. Akhilesh Pandey read vote of thanks. Shri Ajay Bansal conducted the stage. A draft of `15000/- was presented to Justice M. Rama Jois as donation towards Leh victims by Prof. Satish Anand and Sh. Shri S.N. Sharma on behalf of Shri Ashish Sabharwal and Shri Ravi Bhatia of Jammu. Special issue of magazine  'Sampark' on 17th Praud Sanskar Shivir was released by Justice M. Rama Jois.

2nd Session: In Chair : Shri I.D.Ojha conducted by Prof. Satish Chander Anand various delegates spoke as to how Prauds can associate themselve with Sanskar Karya of Bharat Vikas Parishad. Shri Suresh Chander, Chairman Prakashan of BVP, Shri B.B. Pilly of Karnataka and Shri G.S. Bhardwaj of Gwalior were the main speakers.

3rd Session: Shri S.K. Wadhwa was in chair and Prof. Satish Anand conducted the programme. Various delegates spoke on Sewa Karya and how Praud can be helpful fo these Karya. Shri Atam Saroop, Shri B.B. Sawhney, Dr. K. K. Sawhney of Jammu spoke on the occasion. They stressed that Praud of Jammu have played a major role in carrying out Sewa Karya there.

4th Session: Delegates were taken to 'A Satsang' of Shri Sri Ravi Shankar ji of Art of Living organized in the city Gwalior.

5th Session
: On the Dias: Shri S.K. Wadhwa and Shri Varinder Sabharwal; Conducted by : Shri S.N. Sharma National Secretary of Praudh Sanskar

A lecture of 'Yoga' by Shri Anil Saroda was the main attraction. Prof. S.C. Anand read the report of the Shivir.

6th Session (Valedictory Session): Justice M. Rama Jois chaired the session and Shri S. K. Wadhwa presided over the function. Prof. Suresh Gupta of Jammu gave the views of the delegates about the Shivir. Every delegates had a praise for the organizers of the Shivir. Mementoes were given to guests and organizers of the Shivir. Shri Suresh Chander and Shri Ashok Bandil, Prantiya President read vote of thanks on behalf of participants and Prant respectively.
