Third Utkrishtata Samman 2008-09
Bharat Vikas Parishad awarded Utkrishtata Samman for the
year 2008-09 to
Dr. Vallabhbhai R. Kathiria, Rajkot
(Gujarat)
for his outstanding work in the field of Environment.
The award ceremony was held on Sunday the 4th July 2010
in the Symposium Hall of Indian Agricultural Research
Institute in New Delhi.
The Utkrishtata Samman Award has been constituted in the
memory of Parishad's Founder Secretary General Dr. Suraj
Prakash. This is the third year of the award. The
selection was made by the Selection Committee headed by
Shri Jagmohan, which considered over 40 nominations
received from all over the country.

presided over the function
and Acharya Dr.
Lokesh Muni Ji
also
graced the occasion.

of the Bharat Vikas Parishad in serving the society and
blessed the audience.
