“Deh-Daan” (देह-दान) means body donation – the voluntary donation of one’s body after death for medical education, research, and scientific study. This initiative is promoted as a noble act of social service and humanitarian contribution.
The donated body is generally used by medical colleges for anatomy education, training of medical students and doctors, scientific and medical research, and advancement of healthcare knowledge.
