      Sampark Gatividhi

      is the foundational activity of Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), representing purposeful and dignified contact and fellowship. It is the first of the five guiding principles of BVP and forms the base of all organisational work. Sampark initiates mobilisation and community engagement, thereby making cooperation, values, service, and commitment effective

      Five Guiding Principles of BVP:

      Bharat Vikas Parishad functions on the following five sequential principles.

      • Sampark (Contact/Fellowship)
      • Sahyog (Cooperation)
      • Sanskar (Moral Orientation)
      • Sewa (Service)
      • Samarpan (Commitment)
      • Among these, Sampark serves as the entry point, as meaningful contact leads to cooperation, which in turn results in value-based service and long-term commitment.

      Dimensions of Sampark:

      Sampark has two distinct dimensions.

      • Internal Sampark:

        Related to branch formation, expansion, membership growth, and renewal; handled by branch office-bearers.

      • External Sampark:

        An independent activity aimed at connecting enlightened, influential, and resourceful members of society who are not yet associated with BVP

      Purpose and Importance of Sampark:

      The main objectives of Sampark are to.

      • Mobilise volunteers and social leaders.
      • Strengthen the membership base with diverse skills and experiences.
      • Improve societal recognition of BVP’s work.
      • Enhance the quality and impact of activities through guidance.
      • Utilise social, administrative, and institutional networks.
      • Expand the reach of BVP to all sections of society.

      Organisational Structure for Sampark:

      Sampark has a well-defined responsibility framework.

      • National Convener – Sampark.
      • National Co-Convener – Sampark.
      • National Members – Sampark (for each region).
      • Regional Conveners – Sampark.
      • Prantiya Sampark Conveners.
      • Branch Sampark Convener.
      • Branch-level Sampark Teams.
      • This structure ensures effective coordination and continuity at every level.

      Key Activities under Sampark:

      • Contact and Contact List Preparation.

        Each branch prepares a list of 25 eminent individuals from its area.

        Personal meetings are held to introduce BVP and its annual activities.

        Information kits, literature, and publications are provided.

        Such individuals are invited as Chief Guests or Guest of Honour.

      • Sampark Programmes.

        Periodic Sampark programmes are organised on general or specific themes to deepen engagement.

      • Execution Methods.

        Personal outreach to professionals and community leaders.

        Public awareness through literature and digital communication.

        Support for branch expansion.

        Relationship-building with schools, colleges, NGOs, civic bodies, and institutions.

      Target Groups for Sampark:

      Sampark focuses on connecting with.

      • Retired Judges and Senior Civil Servants (IAS/IPS).
      • Academicians and education administrators.
      • Retired defence personnel.
      • Scientists and technocrats.
      • Officers of PSUs and MNCs.
      • Professionals (CAs, Advocates, Bankers).
      • Environmentalists.
      • Eminent personalities from arts, culture, sports, and literature.
      • Doctors and hospital administrators.
      • Industrialists, business leaders, and CSR institutions.

      Guidelines for Effective Sampark:

      While selecting and approaching individuals.

      • Prefer persons relatively free from major family responsibilities.
      • Ensure they have social standing, time, and resources.
      • Look for a spirit of giving back to society.
      • Best practices include.
      • Initially contacting highly influential persons in selected categories.
      • Studying profiles before seeking appointments.
      • Limiting meetings to 2–3 well-informed representatives.
      • Avoiding political or controversial discussions.
      • Presenting a complete BVP information kit.
      • Maintaining continuous follow-up and relationship-building.

      Integration with Other Activities:

      • Sampark is not merely a membership drive but a philosophical foundation of BVP. Meaningful contact leads to cooperation and sustained involvement in Sewa and Sanskar, enabling Bharat Vikas Parishad to function as a grassroots, value-based social movement.
