The Sanskar Gatividhi of Bharat Vikas Parishad reflects the firm belief that true national development is achieved only when material and economic progress is strengthened by deep-rooted moral and cultural values by consciously nurturing Sanskar. Bharat Vikas Parishad contributes meaningfully to the creation of a value-based, united, and progressive nation. This initiative focuses on inculcating moral values, cultural awareness, discipline and a strong sense of national character, particularly among children and youth, who are the foundation of the country’s future.
Bharat Vikas Parishad organises the National Group Song Competition (NGSC), which encourages school children to sing patriotic ( Hindi & Sanskrit) and Folk songs in groups with the aim of promoting patriotism among the younger generation. The NGSC is promote national unity and integration, love for the motherland, team spirit, discipline, and Bharatiya cultural values. The competition is organised at the Branch, Prant, Region and National levels, making it one of the largest cultural initiatives of sanskar.
The main object behind upholding such Sanskar Gatividhi is to apprise the children about the ancient and modern glory of Bharat, its literature, geography, natural resources etc. and also to create a curiosity in them to know more about the country & culture, so that they may realize that our country is second to none in the world. They should feel proud their motherland.
The Guruvandan–Chhatra Abhinandan program is a value-oriented educational and cultural initiative of Bharat Vikas Parishad, aimed to implementing respect and reverence for teachers and parents among students. The program strengthens the traditional Bhartiya Guru-Shishya Prampara and encourages students to recognize that their success is shaped by the guidance, blessings, and inspiration of their teachers and elders. Gurutegh Bahadur Balidan Diwas is observed by Bharat Vikas Parishad to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, who laid down his life to uphold religious freedom, human dignity and righteousness. The observance aims to inspire society, especially the youth, with values of courage, tolerance, and self-sacrifice.
On this day, Bharat Vikas Parishad organizes public meetings, seminars and exhibitions to pay tribute to the sacrifices of the Sikh Guru Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji along with various cultural and value-based events to promote moral values, national consciousness and social harmony.
