      Sewa Gatividhi

      Sewa Gatividhi refers to the selfless service activities undertaken by Bharat Vikas Parishad for the welfare of society specially for the needy and underprivileged sections.

      Through its Sewa Karya, Bharat Vikas Parishad works in the fields of health, education, social welfare, disaster relief and support for marginalized sections of society. These services are carried out in the spirit of “Seva and Samarpan”, ensuring that material assistance is accompanied by moral values and human dignity. The ultimate objective of Sewa Karya is to build a Swasth, Samarth, and Sanskarit Bharat.

      Divyang (Differently-Abled) Sahyata Yojana:

      it is the most prominent Gatividhi of Bharat Vikas Parishad.

      • Distribution of Artificial Limbs:

        BVP has been involved in manufacturing and distributing prosthetic limbs, callipers, tricycles, wheelchairs, hearing aid and other mobility aids to tens of thousands of people with disabilities, helping them regain mobility and dignity.

      • Rehabilitation:

        Many branches assist disabled beneficiaries with rehabilitation services, including physiotherapy, skill training and support for independent living and employment.

      Health, Wellness and Medical Support:

      Healthcare initiatives form a large part of the Parishad’s service work.

      • Health Camps & Yoga Programs:

        BVP organises free health check-ups, Bone, dental and eye check-up camps and yoga camps to encourage preventive health practices in communities.

      • Blood Donation Drives:

        Regular blood donation camps are held to support hospitals and emergency medical needs.

      • Medical Facilities:

        Through its trust network, the Parishad runs hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres and pathology labs, expanding access to quality healthcare where no profit no lass base facilities are being provided.

      • Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyan:

        Through its trust network, the Parishad runs hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres and pathology labs, expanding access to quality healthcare where no profit no lass base facilities are being provided.

      Integrated Village Development:

      BVP’s sewa initiatives frequently take the form of Grameen Vikas (rural development).

      • Adoption of Villages:

        Bharat Vikas Parisahd adopts villages to undertake allround development of village to provide basic amenities like clean water, construction of toilets sanitation, health and livelihood needs in an integrated manner and and improving public infrastructure such as classrooms, renovating of schools, pathways, temples and cremation grounds in villages.

      Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation:

      Seva Karya reaches a peak during emergencies.

      • Natural Calamities:

        Whether floods, earthquakes or cyclones, BVP branches mobilise relief — distributing food, clothing and medical supplies, and even engaging in reconstruction and shelter-building for affected peoples.

      • Crisis Support:

        In times of National distress such as wars, volunteers have organised blood donation and material support for soldiers and displaced communities.

      • Permanent Disaster Fund:

        The Parishad maintains a corpus fund specifically designed to support relief operations whenever needed.

      Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyan:

      Bharat Vikas Parishad is actively contributing to the national mission by launching the “Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.” Recognising Anemia as a serious public health challenge—particularly affecting women, children and adolescents.

      • Social Awareness program:

        BVP time to time organised awareness program / seminars on Nasha Mukti Abhiyan (Anti-Drug Campaign), sanitation, hygiene, health awareness and civic issues to promote responsible citizenship.
